Why Instagram removes your line breaks
Instagram collapses lines that are completely empty or that end with a space. The fix is to put an invisible character on each empty line and remove trailing spaces – exactly what this tool does automatically.
Tips for good caption spacing
- Hook in the first line – only ~125 characters show before “more”.
- One idea per paragraph, separated by a blank line.
- Put hashtags after a few blank lines or in the first comment.
- Check the 2,200-character caption limit with the character counter.

Does this work for Instagram bios too?
Yes. Bios support up to 150 characters across several lines; empty lines need an invisible character to stay.
Which filler should I choose?
Braille blank (U+2800) is invisible and rarely stripped. If it shows as a dot pattern on an old device, try the Hangul filler.
Why did my line breaks still disappear?
Make sure you pasted the copied version, not the original. Editing a caption on some versions of the app can also re-collapse lines.
Does it work on Facebook, LinkedIn and Threads?
